Monobond Our unique Monobond concept provides a 1" or 2" filter that meets or exceeds requirements for residential, commercial, and industrial use. The 1 rugged one-piece frame is stronger than traditional designs. A high tensile strength polyethylene binder provides a strong yet flexible seal which withstands varying temperatures and humidity conditions. Filters are sealed under heat and pressure, resulting in a 100% bond to all sides and ensuring no weak corners or air bypass. This unique Monobond design has been improved by placing a new Tri- Directional Scrim Backing on the downstream side. The Scrim Backing is laminated to the filter media providing downstream support and minimum fiber displacement at high velocities with reduced restriction to air flow. The non-metal backing eliminates sharp edges for safer installation and easier disposal.
	POLY-panel, POLY-link, and POLY-Slip on Purolator's POLY-panel, POLY-link, and POLY-slip on medium efficiency filters are made from layers of polyester media heatsealed together and sup- ported by integral steel wire frames. Progressively increased media density gives these filters an extremely high dust holding capacity. As a replacement for fiberglass filters, these products will give extended life and eliminate dirt leakage between filters. Similar characteristics are available in our Dust Grabber model, created by a unique combination of fiberglass and synthetic material.
	Pleated Air Filters Three capacity ranges of medium efficiency pleated type air filters are available, in three depths and unlimited sizes. These products offer many times the life span and efficiency of a basic panel or pad style filter. The average efficiency range is 25 to 30%. The Hi-E 40 and MARK 80 products' construction standard includes solid Kraft beverage board frames, which promote moisture resistance. The hi-E 40x model is available as an economy grade type pleated filter for im- mediate upgrade from a panel or pad type filter. The blend of cotton and synthetic fibers allows for the ultimate in dust holding capacity through the full range of medium efficiency pleated air filters.
	UNI-cap The UNI-cap is an extended surface medium efficiency product utilizing a preformed collapsible filter cartridge of high loft polyester or fiberglass and is externally supported by means of a permanently installed wire basket assembly. Low cost, long life and compact storage are the prime benefits of this product.

	POLY-440 and POLY-420 The POLY-440 and POLY-420 are medium efficiency extended surface, self- supporting air filters. The POLY-420 uses a single layer blended denier polyester media and the POLY-440 uses two distinct layers of polyester media arranged in progressive densities and fiber blends. To maximize the filters' efficiency, the air exiting side of both filter models is treated with DYIene, a colorless, odorless nonmigratory adhesive coating.
	Pad and Frame The Purolator Frame fits right into your present air filtration system. The frame provides optimum air flow and maximum surface area for full filter pad use. Purolator BL (Blue laminated) Pads are continuous filament glass. Three stages for higher efficiency: 1- Blue entering face catches large particles without face loading. 2- Retains medium-sized paniculate. Electronically programmed media pattern provides variable density for greater dust-holding capacity. 3- Unique laminated backing provides structural strength for easier handl- ing, prevents pad sagging in the frame to assure full perimeter seal. Available in a wide variety of sizes, the Purolator BL Filter Pad comes in special compressed packs. These special packs dramatically shrink your storage requirements, make handling easier.
	Auto Roll Purolator replacement rolls allow deep dirt penetration, assuring high dirt- holding capacity in conjunction with high filtration efficiency. Use of con- tinuous filaments eliminates fiber break off. EACH REPLACEMENT ROLL is equipped with a five-foot, double-stitched, heavy duty Kraft paper leader and trailer which allows for easier handling and installation. (All rolls are 65 feet long and 2 inches (plus) thick.) MEDIA IS REINFORCED for greater strength by a sturdy laminated backing. This backingelectronically programmed for insured consistency imparts a final filter-polish and provides high tensile strength to prevent necking under tension. Scrim-backed rolls, however, are also available on request as are nylon-backed rolls.
	Bulk Glass Purolator glass media is made of 100% continuous filaments of spun glass, bonded with a thermo-setting resin. It assures deep dirt penetration and high dirt-holding capacity because the filaments are electronically pro- grammed to form effective high loft, gradient density patterns. A sturdy laminated backing on the downstream side, manufactured as an in- tegral part of the media, reinforces the blue laminated glass media for greater strength. Flash point is 325 F. minimum on coated media and meets or exceeds all industrial standards. All Purolator media is tested under ASHRAE 52 Standards, with independent laboratory tests available to qualified buyers on re- quest. Purolator filter media is listed as Class II by Underwriters' Laboratories.
